February 2017 – Sarah

Sarah has been chosen by her co-workers as our February Employee of the Month, which is very appropriate as she is obviously filled with LOVE. A love that she so winningly pours out upon those she works with in our Dish Station, a very important position that serves each and every one of us. Our General Manager’s favorite description of her is: ”She’s so bubbly, I don’t think a flooded dish station could get her down.” Her nominations came from many of our teams because “Sarah helps where ever there is a need; laundry, folding boxes, sweeping/mopping and always does it with a smile.” Her smile and joyful attitude were mentioned several times. Her adeptness at her job was also noted:  She is always on top of things; she never seems to get behind; she is fast and good at all her tasks; she is always happy and eager to help while asking about your day showing in many ways her care and concern for those around her.

Sarah’s smile may remind you of one of our lovely servers, her sister Rebekah has served us well over the past few years. It indicates to me that they come from a family who knows what love is. As our Proprietress Mary Alice loves to quote: “Duty bids us do things well, but Love compels us do them beautifully.” The St. James Tearoom Motto.
