June 2019 – Kendra
We are overjoyed to honor Kendra as June’s Employee of the Month! Kendra has been with The St. James since August 2018 as one of our lovely Market Attendants.
Kendra’s presence can be described in a word: generous. She is generous with her time by covering shifts as much as she possibly can, and making sure not to end her shift before she is assured her team is in a good spot. Kendra is generous with her resources, bringing in lotion for her Market team when the winter weather hits, or finding small blessings to brighten their day. And she is generous with her knowledge. Kendra frequently comes in early and stays late after shifts, diligently learning about tea to be able to pass her knowledge onto her guests.
Throughout her day, Kendra’s disposition remains sunny, bright, and joyful. She is constantly seeking ways to pass that joy to others. Whether it is fixing a small mistake, or surprising a guest, Kendra earnestly shows everyone around her how valued they are.
With her gentle spirit, servant’s heart, and humor, we are so honored to have Kendra part of The St. James family. Thank you for spreading your joy and lighting up the Market with your presence!
