August 2018 – Erin
For August, we are pleased to honor Erin as Employee of the Month! Erin has been with The St. James since November of 2017 as both a Server and a Reservationist.
Erin is a true example of a Servant’s Heart. She is recognized as one who is constantly striving to help others in all that she does. While in her role as a Server, she is quick to jump in and help with the daily tasks, but also is frequently asking where she might go above and beyond. Her search to find where she can help in the uncommon places lightens the burdens of her team. This even extends beyond her scheduled shifts as she stays late to help when she sees the need.
Guests are also blessed by her helpful spirit when she is on the phones as a Reservationist. Erin loves to make sure every detail of a guest’s reservation is perfect, even when uncommon requests may be asked. She goes out of her way to bless and serve so every guest may have a unique experience.
Erin makes every effort to accommodate each request she can; even when it seems impossible, she often finds a way. She is always trying to learn and grow in her areas of service and encourages those around her to do the same. All the while, as she continues to lighten the loads of those around her, she keeps her team laughing and brings a light-hearted spirit wherever she goes.
