June 2017 – Isaiah

Isaiah, our Employee of the Month for June 2017 has only been with The St. James Tearoom since November, but in that time, he has endeared himself to his coworkers with his jolly nature and large heart! Isaiah works in the dish station as an Expeditor; serving tea is a bustling business and our Expeditors move things along in a myriad of ways. Making sure the fine china and every other dish is clean and ready for the next group of guests is just one vital function that Isaiah accomplishes with thoroughness and gentleness; he has also become a master at assembling food trays, doing them efficiently and beautifully. Isaiah is quick to see a need and offer assistance, especially with big and heavy items. Our Market Team is especially grateful that he cheerfully volunteers to transport a constant influx of boxes, even to the attic! What a joy it is to work beside an employee whose large heart is expressed in his large smile!
