intoxicating blueberry aroma

Blueberry Festival

Light and sweet, this tea hardly needs introduction as its intoxicating blueberry aroma fills the room! Black and green tea leaves are tossed with lilac blossoms and real blueberries, celebrating in a true festival of delight. Also excellent as an iced tea, with a hint of sugar, but too delicate for milk.

Steeping Directions

Learn how to make “Blueberry Festival” to enjoy at home!

Basic

water at a rolling boil (~212° F)

1 tsp tea leaves per 6 oz. water (standard teacup)

~ 3 minutes: Drain tea strainer, serve, and enjoy!

white sugar will complement, but milk is not recommended

Tea Tip: For fullest flavor, use a tea strainer with enough room to allow the tea leaves to open as they steep.

Iced

 water at a rolling boil (~212° F)

4 Tbsp tea leaves (2 qt. pitcher)

~ 3 minutes: Drain tea strainer

white sugar to sweeten, stirred in while hot

Chill and/or add ice cubes, serve, and enjoy!

Tea Tip: To avoid diluting your iced tea, make the ice cubes out of the tea you are preparing!

 1 1⁄2 heaping Tbsp tea leaves (32 oz. water / medium-sized teapot)

~ 1 1 ⁄2 minutes: pause timer, drain tea strainer, return, continue steeping

~ 2 1 ⁄2 minutes: start tasting every 15 seconds, steeping to your preference

~ 3 minutes: recommended steep time for “Blueberry Festival.” Drain tea strainer, serve, and enjoy!

white sugar will complement, but milk is not recommended
