The St. James Literary League meets four times a year to explore classic literature from around the world, on a “come-as-you’re-interested” basis.

Our third book this year is The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James. Journey into a richly drawn world of society, independence, and self-discovery as we follow Isabel Archer’s poignant and provocative story. Join us as we discuss the choices, challenges, and complexities in one of James’s most celebrated novels.

A full afternoon tea from our “Tea with Mr. Darcy” menu will be served during the discussion.
