Join us as we begin this year’s Literary League. The St. James Literary League meets four times a year to explore classic literature from around the world, on a “come-as-you’re-interested” basis.
Our first classic is Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne. Follow Professor Otto Lidenbrock, his nephew Axel, and their guide Hans as they embark on a daring expedition deep beneath the Earth’s surface, discovering strange landscapes and ancient mysteries along the way. Verne’s classic blends scientific curiosity with imaginative adventure and a timeless spirit of exploration.
A full afternoon tea from our “La Vie en Rose” menu will be served during the discussion.
*Please note this event is community seating and you may be seated with another group.
*Please come having read the book.
