For our next meeting of the St. James Literary League, we will dive into Mary Shelley’s classic, Frankenstein. It was in the summer of 1816 that Lord Byron and the Shelleys decided to each write a ghost story in order to pass the time. Mary was determined to think of a story “which would speak to the mysterious fears of our nature and awaken thrilling horror.” Join us Thursday, November 2nd, for this spooky tale!
