The St. James Literary League meets four times a year to explore classic literature from around the world on a “come-as-you’re-interested” basis.

We begin this year’s Literary League, featuring Anthony Trollope and his third book in The Chronicles of Barteshire: Doctor Thorne. 

Join us as we recount the charming story of a bankrupt landowners son, Frank Gresham, who is intent on marrying his beloved Mary Thorne despite her illegitimacy and apparent poverty.

A full afternoon tea of our “La Vie en Rose” menu will be served.
