The St. James Literary League meets four times a year to explore classic literature from around the world on a “come-as-you’re-interested” basis.
Join us as we consider one of Jules Verne’s most acclaimed works: Around the World in 80 Days. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a wager of £20,000 set by his friends at the Reform Club.
A full afternoon tea of our “Tea with Mr. Darcy” menu will be served during the discussion.
*Please come having read the book and note you may be seated with another group.
