Join us as we begin this year’s literary series, focusing on classic popular mysteries from various authors in the genre.

Our first mystery this year is Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith and part of his series: The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. Step into the sun-warmed streets of Gaborone and follow Precious Ramotswe’s thoughtful detective work. Join her as she unravels a long-unsolved mystery of a young boy who disappeared, all while she navigates matters of love, loyalty, and change closer to home. With gentle humor and deep compassion, this story explores memory, grief, hope, and the quiet courage it takes to seek truth.

A full afternoon tea from our  “Music of the Night” menu will be served during the discussion.
