Tea at the St. James is a luxurious escape from the busyness of the world.  You and your guests will enjoy two hours of peace and a sumptuous afternoon tea that is a full meal. Please see the page appropriate to the size of your group for detailed information and tips for making your reservation.

The Nooks are cozy rooms for small parties. The Library has eight seatings for larger groups, divided by curtains which can be drawn back so that the whole room may be used for grand gatherings such as our special events. Explore the 3D Interactive Tour below! Look for the three people saying hello somewhere in

Served on the elegant three-tiered tray, this is a full meal which includes savories and tea sandwiches, two different types of scones or breads including our St. James traditional Cream Scones, and a variety of sweets and desserts, all hand made on site by our chefs. The food is truly indulgent: sweet pastry crusts, butter-rich

(See also Guidelines for Parties with Children for details and age restrictions.) We love to see children at the tearoom, and most often parents have already worked with their children, preparing them for the experience. Once in a while, we see parents who are beside themselves, embarrassed, and not enjoying the experience they have paid for

In our continuing effort to provide each guest with an enjoyable experience, we have set some guidelines for groups that include children. Here are the ratios that will be required for parties with children: ~ Parties of up to 6 people: 1 adult per 2 children (ages 4-10) ~ Parties of more than 6: 1
