Tea with the Tudors

Spend an evening with one of England's most notorious leaders, King Henry VIII. Educated for the clergy, but destined for the crown, Henry ruled England from 1509 to 1547. While Henry is most remembered for his less then sympathetic dealings with his wives, Henry's reign greatly altered England, as well as the whole of Western Christendom. Come learn about this fascinating, tumultuous time in British history from Henry himself. His first wife, Catherine of Aragon, a queen much loved by the British people, will also be there to share the triumphs and heartaches of her reign. Local thespians Pete Alden and Joann Danella-Alden will lead us through this fun and educational evening. A full afternoon tea will be served. Guests are welcome to dress for the time period.
