Join Emma on Box Hill for a Picnic
Please enjoy a special evening dedicated to Jane Austen (December 16 1775-July 18 1817). Jayne Pilley from The Jane Austen Society of North America, (JASNA) will do a dramatic reading from Emma. She will be reading from chapter 43 which highlights the picnic at Box Hill. Please try and read the chapter before the tea as there will be discussion after the reading. We will also be discussing Jane Austen's life and the people that influenced and inspired her. Enjoy a Fashion Show sponsored by Off Broadway Vintage Clothing and Costumes featuring some of our own models from the St James! They will be modeling dresses that you might have seen Jane and her sister, Cassandra wearing in that era.

Period dress is mandatory, so dress to the hilt!

Please don't delay, make your reservation early as this will surely be a popular event!
